We have a young tree that fuited last year and the year before for the first time. We have had no flowers this year. Looks like leaves covered with black fly. Any ideas please?

You'rr not alone my cox orange pippin didn't flower this year but my true love red did and is in fruit. All I can guess is it has something to do with the prolonged spell of cold weather we had
Here in Derbyshire the weather was very poor when our Bramley flowered. Just one of those things. Better luck in 2014!
