seeds

Hi all, could anyone tell me  what perennial seeds I could sow now and also is it too late to sow runner beans, my soil is heavy clay, many thanks p.s. anyone know how to rid my pond of duckweed besides scooping it out and frightening new fish.

    you could try french beans, but they like a humus rich soil, not heavy clay. you would need to dig in a lot of compost first .

    not much of anything you can sow in July/Aug as the days are now shortening.
    Plenty of perennials can be sown sept onwards.

    I use a hose spray to push all the duckweed up to 1 end of the pond and scoop it out with a net. Works well and my 12' x 8' pond is duckweed free
