can anyone please tell me when i should collect foxgloves seds and what colour the seeds should be thank you

When the seedpods are dry and beginning to open on their own. The seeds are usually brown or black, as far as I can remember.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
The seed pods at the bottom will start opening by themselves and you can collect at that point. The seeds are coloured brown by the time that happens. I find that the bottom pods are usually opening by the time the last flowers at the top drop off.
