What use could a recycled politician be put to? Any suggestions?

    I don't like to say waterbutts...I am a lady....

They could be used for pavement  resurfacing- then we could get to walk all over them for a change!! image

All that hot air.... it would keep a few greenhouses warm for a while.

Yes- forget windmills for renewable energy - just stick  them up on a hill somewhere and plug them into the National Grid!

Are we taking that too far??

I found two knotted worms today- but the soil was damp, albeit warm on the surface...I wonder if worms sense hot weather comingimage

Interesting thread here http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/forums/general-wildlife/30539-garden-worm.html about knotted worms - it appears it's a reaction to hot dry weather.

Back to the OP, you dont need worms in your compost bins, people on here have bins with solid bottoms on concrete, cant remember who it was off hand.

Compost is made by bacterias, and microbe thingys.

Cheers Doveimage Yes, that was the first thing that came up when I googled it, but then I came back on here and found bob the gardener had already answered itimage

Never seen it before - and I move plants around in the heat of the day quite oftenimage I was hoping the worms were predicting a long hot summer...
