My cistus/broom, are coming into flower , azaleas have had the odd few flowers all through summer . Some white lily type flowers who I've got a members name on are still in full flower .hosta still in full leaf and flowers just starting to die off these have Kathy's name on .
Everything's very strange here in Surrey - daphne is in flower a full month earlier than usual, snowdrops poking their noses through, one hellebore flowering, both japanese quinces covered in blooms (normally strut their stuff late February).
It might be normal for Devon and Cornwall, but it is definitely un-normal here. And I know, because I am the sad sort of person that writes flowering dates down. Don't normally have to get my little notebook out til after the festivities are over.
Nothing unusually early here in terms of bulbs (other than Dutch Iris which are always showing in autumn/winter) but we're about three or four weeks behind, and our season often finishes later because of that. Japanese anemones only finished flowering a few weeks ago.
chicky
