This is a common question, and I probably should know the answer image, but when do you start feeding your tomato plants? feed says 'when the first truss has set.' most of my plants have got around three or four trusses but in each case i wouldn't say all of the fruit on the first truss has appeared. a few maybe. should i start or still keep holding off, taking the instructions literally?

Start feeding when the flowers on the lowest truss have started to form small fruit.  So I would say you should be feeding them now.
