I know how to make links work BLimage. Was just trying to help you see them - not everyone realises they can paste them into a browser. If I do it I get the images Jo posted above. Not sure why you don't - maybe there's an accidental space before the URL? Anyway, no matter now image.

  • Pasting the links into the browser doesn't work for me - it usually does so I don't know what's gone wrong there.

Anyway, we can see the image, thanks Jo image

Looks rather like a David Austin type to me - have a look at their website http://www.davidaustinroses.com/

It's a mystery, Dove (aarrrggh - whenever I thnk of that phrase I get Toyah Wilcox gojng through my head for HOURS! Showing my age?).

It is a rather lovely rose, Hollyandroses, but I can't help - the reason I opened this thread was because I often wonder myself how / if it's possible to tell if a rose is a climber, rambler, bush, shrub etc without knowing the variety. The pink vs white aspect is also intriguing - it doesn't *look* as though it's a faded white bloom, but a pink one through and through. Not very helpful, sorry!

  • Thanks everyone! I'll presume she's a climber or rambler and give her a bit of support. She is a lovely rose, you're right Librarian, and quite nice that I seem to have two roses for the price of one! Thank you image
