    • I like the smell of Wood shavings, lumber yards, the mealy stuff you feed chickens, clean stables, the baconny smell in an old fashioned grocery shop and the paraffiny smell in an old fashioned hardware shop. Those two smells are pretty much gone  from shops now. The only smells you get now are perfume and fake- baked bread.

Hate the smell of second-hand bookshops.

    In London. Keen but lazy.

    Buying new plantsimage

Moving plants around because they don't seem quite right.

    Oh and buying new plants.

underestimating how much space a plant will need.

    Mmm yes, buying new plants.

Going in the garden to do a specific job and getting sidetracked.

And yes, you've guessed - buying new plantsimage

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands

  • Agree with all the comments about smells, especially B3.  Hospitals used to reek of sterile cleanliness when I was a little girl - they don't any more though.  What was that hospital smell?
