Lift gravel stones to put down grass

Hi, this is my first post as i am a complete beginner,

What is the best way to lift gravel stones?

i want to replace them with grass

Shovel and a bucket and lots of rubble sacks! Oh and backache along the way as well. Dont fill the sacks too much either as you wont be able to move them. Someone on here might have a better idea.......

just moved 3 ton from my daughters . barrowed to the drive and put on ebay buyer collects now sold and gone
