can you take cuttings from photinia (red robin) and plant them.

The short answer is yes. Semi- ripe cuttings (so not too sappy) any time for the next few months. I'd pot them up and let them get established before planting them out.image

Hi I want to take some cuttings from my photinias. 1. Do I need to put them in the usual rooting powder and compost? 2. Can I leave them outside (don't have a greenhouse). 3. How long do they take (roughly) to establish.

    Grateful for any replies.
