  • Fortunately husband works with some great people. Soils gone with only promise of a few pints. Will see what neighbours will complain about next.

    Thanks for all the suggestions.Was going to try freecycle websites but it was all gone when i returned from work image.  I was worrried if anyone would be able to find us. Our road/postcode doesn't exist in any sat navs or even google yet.

    As for the neighbours, why not pop a lovely Christmas card through their door - it's very difficult to be nasty to someone who's being nice to you image

  • Great news - all's well that ends well.  Just be careful you don't say 'pass the sugar' in the wrong tone of voice to those neighbours!!
