What are best shrubs for driveway, which will not scratch car!!
Good evening all. I wish to plant a hedge between my driveway and neighbours. Ideally the hedge should NOT be deciduous, which rules out Beech. Any ideas or suggestions. Thank you in advance

Any hedge will scratch a car if not kept trimmed back - even soft-foliaged plants will mark modern motor vehicle paintwork which is much softer than older types.

Pittosporum is nice. Cotoneaster franchettii is lovely with red berries for the birdies. Hebe's can be nice, some are quite soft, not all are very hardy though.
This is a great site.
