I have recently dug up a dwarf dahlia and noticed a lot of wart like growth at the top of the tubers around the stem.
Anybody know what it is or is likely to affect the other tubers please?

No, the tubers are quite firm but one tuber was rotten when I dug them up and one
appears to have been attacked by a slug. There is no smell from the remaining tubers.
As I said before, the attack on the tubers are like a wart covered crust especially at the bottom of the plant tubers.
Is foot/gall contagious to other tubers I have?

I have looked at dahli scab but it is not like that at all, it is small pointed wart like mass at the bottom of the stem and on the tubers
