Living in north Yorks, the soil will be cold overwinter
I have some quite big clumps now in the wrong places in my small borders - they seem to like it here ! I know I should be taking cuttings, but have nowhere to overwinter.
Can I split the original clumps successfully ? Then plant direct or pot up ? But when to do ? I first thought spring would be right - any advice most welcomed

Oh dear - though t I'd got it wrong !
Thanks for the advice tho' will try some late cuttings - anyway all a learning curve
