unknown shrub
Have been asked by a fellow gardener if I could identify it but I can't. Afraid I don't have pictures. They are on her phone.
Pink scented flowers that look like syringa flowers. Leaves smaller than Syringa and quite dainty, rounded and mottled white with just a bit of green. New growth plain green.
About 8/10ft tall and suckers like a Syringa....any ideas anyone?

There are varieties of Syringa with small rounded green leaves but tend to be the dwarf ones and don't know any mottled white?
