boring gardening jobs
While weeding or digging or the like,do you ever have profound thoughts?
Like:
Why is all Christmas party food advertised on TV beige?
Why do journalists stand outside parliament to tell us the latest when they could just as well do it in a studio?
Can you get thunder and lightning in a snowstorm?
In London. Keen but lazy.

No 1 - that made me laugh out loud!
and yeh - why is it beige?
No 2 - no idea - often wondered that myself
No 3 - Yes - we had thunder and hail/snow on Friday night
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
No 2 has always bugged me. Yeah, stand outside HoP when it's not in session, or outside No 10. Do they think Call me Dave is going to pop out for a chat?
That would put you off standing there Hosta

not only are my thoughts fleeting, but also my tasks.
and save the money of an outside broadcast team.
Why do all journalists nod like Churchill the dog?! I get that they should show understanding but they seem to do it all the time, no matter what has come out or is coming out if the mouth of the person they are speaking to. Drives me nuts
...and what's worse, they shoot these 'noddies' separately, when the interviewee's not even there. (My mum used to work in TV)
Do those journalists stood outside when they could be in a nice warm studio wear jeans and trainers "off camera" ?
They also have a habit (tv presenters too) of saying that 'this happened at 6am in the morning'. Drives me nuts
