My Trachycarpus has flowered - what do I do with the stems now that all the flowers have gone, should I cut them off?

Yes and any leaves that look battered as well. You slowly cut the leaves up the trunk each year so you end up with a nice full head at the top.
yes, I've been trimming the leaves but this is the first year it's flowered.
