hello Keen.... I've grown a few of those you like, Astilbe's and Rodgersia's... need a dampish garden I think for most of them... these days I'm much too dry... perhaps you'll tell us what shrubs you like best.. after 56 years of labour... and whether you are inland or by the sea....
