Is it possible to dig up dahlia tubers that you have grown from seed  and store to plant out the following year?

Not if you're like me sueschles and mix up the labelsimageimage.  You will be surprised how large the tubers are when you dig them upimage

I'm leaving mine in the ground to see what happens. A few years ago I sowed "Bishops Children" dahlias and most still come up each year having been left in the ground. But it is a well drained bed.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
  • Mine beds are quite heavy clay. Think I will lift them. They are also bishops children
