I bought some very small mixed perenial plugs from an advertiser in GW, put them into a cool green house and potted them on as they grew. Can I plant them out now or should I wait until the spring?
Thanks Should I have planted straight into garden when i got them in sept? They were very small and we have a rabbit problem They strip all fresh growth. plants were cottage garden type foxgloves campanula etc
Verdun's right Chris, and even in spring when you have better, stronger plants to put out, you'll need to protect them well if you have rabbits. They'll have a go at most things, and especially nice soft, new growth on perennials as they emerge.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Spring. Otherwise they run the risk of getting damaged by frost and cold as we move towards winter.
