I have two fabulous christmas cactus in a large pot with an ivy. The pot stands in front of my patio doors so of course all the flowers are now facing out towards the garden attracted by the light. It would be lovely if they faced into the room, but I've been told if I turn it round the flowers will break off as they try to turn back to the light. Is this true?

Yes. Thats why I never buy the lovely ones in bud. Positioned wrong, they all drop off.
