cymbidium orchid

My cymbidium orchid has nice looking suedo bulbs which look as if they are about to produce spikes again this year, but some of the old ones are looking tatty and brown now with no leaves. Can I maybe just pull them away to tidy it or do I have to wait til spring and repot the whole thing. Basically is there a quick fix for now?

  • Thanks Phillippa. Mine is about 8 years old and quite large now so they probably will take a bit of brute force as you say. So to be on the safe side I will leave it alone until spring.

    Thanks again.image
