My current 'favs' have to be headed by Clematis "Freckles" - it's just coming into flower ready for winter! Early season here is dominated by the heleborines that nestle around the sunny sidewall of the greenhouse, whilst mid - late season sees the multi-headed asiatic lilies and the big blousy 'mophead' hydrangeas coming to the fore.
I love those little violets that pop up in my 'lawn'. I also like daisies, scarlet pimpernel , purple toadflax, centaureas and other many other weedy things .
