allium?
I was given a selection of alliums a while back and duly planted them. One lot had very small bulbs and the leaves were like fine grass and smell oniony rather than garlicky, They grew to 12-18 inches and had creamy white flowers. The seeds were like little red berries and when they dried on the stalk I scattered them. Now I'm wondering if I made a mistake because they're coming up everywhere! Would appreciate advice or ID while there is still time to get rid if necessary
In London. Keen but lazy.

Looks like my instincts are right I'll keep them weeded out. Thanks V
Ursinum is wild garlic - but they smell garlicky and the foliage is broad.
Dig out what you don't want B3. The red seeds are a bit puzzling
And deadhead them if you decide to keep them - then you won't get so many more
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Hi B3,
It might be allium roseum ... pale pink flowers and red berry seeds (look a bit like pomegranate seeds). See this link ..

It is a bit of a thug ... I do grow it but in a scree area where it can do its own thing without getting out of hand.
A single bee creates just one twelfth of a teaspoon of honey in her lifetime
That's the one Bee! It is certainly displaying thuggish potential. I'll be careful with it.
They got a bit faded in my memory. Age and alcohol will do that. I remembered they weren't white though
