diseases I think
Hi went into the Garden today as work late so weekends are the only time I get now and with fading late Saturday and Sunday are my only days to check the garden over. Anyway looked at my Rudbeckia and one of the stems had gone black rusty with a white dust type on it when I cut it back. Just wondering if anyone knows more what it could be and if cutting the stem back is enough. Sorry no photos of it either.
Many Thanks

Thanks was getting worried there was a powder white thing on it so cut it out to make sure and moved the soil and any plants from around it for more light and air.
yeah even though it was raining they where crisp and when cut you could see a powdered smoke
