My neighbour has a drift of pretty yellow flowers that look like a cross between day lilies and aquilegia, they're about 18" high. Any idea what they might be please?

They could be Annie. Day lilies are mostly taller I htink but there are dwarf varieties. A pic would help if you can manage it
