Annual Cosmos

Hi Just wondered if it's worth chopping back my annual Cosmos and putting the pot in a frost free place. I know growing them by seed is best but thought this might be a way of a quick start next year. image

They're annuals - germinate, flower, seed and die in one year.  You'll need to sow new seeds for next year.

They germinate and grow very quickly so you probably wouldn't need a head start anyway. If you sow the seeds fairly early, they should be ready to plant out when late spring flowers have finished.

    In London. Keen but lazy.
