Heavenly bamboo

My local garden centre has Heavenly Bamboo for sale at a discounted price and I am tempted to buy. I am wondering if this has impossible to remove roots like other bamboos or is it no relation?

I can highly recommend this plant. I have this in a pot. I have had it for yeas and really love it. I have just purchsed 2 more of the dwarf variety 'Firepower' and planted them in the garden ( cheap as they were looking poorly so I couldn't resist ) both doing well. They are no relation to bamboo and imo very good value. Evergreen. Good coloured young foliage in spring followed in May/June by panicles of creamy white flowers then another change of colour in autumn followed by red berries. They require little to no pruning - I only remember taking off the spent flower stems after the berries have faded. They are also supposed to be good feng shui to position them near an door or entrance.
