I wonder if anyone can help. Whilst clearing some tangled shrubs we found a very old tangled wisteria which has climbed to great heights into the trees. Is there any hope we may salvage this by pruning somehow and could it flower again?
I used to drive past a fabulous wisteria growing right into the canopy of an oak tree. It flowered magnificently.
I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to " salvage" it.
Might take a bit of untangling over the winter when it has no leaves but it'd be worth the time and effort.
Thanks for the encouragement Hostafan1. Let's see what happens next spring!
