Taking care of birds

Just a reminder that feeding birds without regularly cleaning and disinfecting the bird feeders and birdbaths is doing more harm than good.    I clean mine weekly.  I haven't been changing the water daily but I will start doing that. Just had another fluffed up green finch in the garden so I've temporarily taken down all seed feeders so as to let infected birds disperse.  I've mentioned it to neighbours before but they dismiss it.  Trichimonas is spread through bird feeder use.
