Vertical green walls
Does anyone know how to build a vertical green wall using rock wool and hydrophonic feeding rather than compost etc.

these walls are amazing http://www.greenhomebuilding.com/articles/livingwalls.htm
not sure if its what your looking for. I'd love to have a go at building a green wall
It's something I'd like to do- but probably using 'containers on shelves' on the fence filled with evergreen plants like vinca, violas, heucheras and hart's tongue ferns which will then cover the fence in a more 3D way than just ivy or other climbers.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Thank you all, the one I want to make is just below the ACROS Fukuoka building on the http://www.greenhomebuilding.com/articles/livingwalls.htm web site with the felt and rock wool. I just want to know a little bit more on how to do it, i.e how much rockwool, how much water, best sort of fertilizer and how often needed etc.
