Laying new turf
I have recently had new turf laid. I wanted the borders around the edges of the turf to be the same width however, one side is about half a foot smaller.
I am not sure whether I should cut the turf now and relay it to try and make the borders even, or if I should wait until it has established. It has been five days since it was laid.
The grass is also stripy is this normal and will it eventually blend?

Hi Dani
Leave the turf as it is - next spring you can trim one edge to make the beds the same width.
The turves will evetually blend together.

Thanks very much for your help and advice. I will leave it until spring and live with the uneven borders til then
