Overgrown choisya
in Plants
The choisya in my front garden has grown to an enormous size. It still flowers beautifully but needs a serious chop. There is a layer of leaves about 6-8 inches deep on the end of the boughs and then just bare wood underneath. Can I be ruthless...I like the idea of having some garden back!

Mine regrew from a very serious haircut, right to base. I never think shrubs look shapely again after that though. They're there and they flower but often i discard them after a couple of years
