Cana
in Plants
I bought a cana from wikinsons, reduced to 50p. ive potted it up and its starting to grow. should i bring it into the greenhouse over winter? I like the idea of gettting a good plant so cheaply!

agree with Verdun, as usual. Keep it dry . In spring it will start to grow, that's the cue to start watering again. Gently at first until it gets going.
You 'canna' be too careful with them...do you see what I did there?
As the other say - it's a combination of cold and wet that does for them. I forgot about one completely one year - in a conservatory - and it was never watered. It sprang back to life and romped away once the weather improved and I started watering again. Potted on with plenty of nutrition, it doubled in size that year.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
i put mine away last year but didnt come back in spring, see no reason though
trying again
i think was potted to deep 9was boxed up for winter) maybe was going to spring into life but later
