Question: which way do kidney beans grow up the sticks - clockwise or anti-clockwise???

Do you mean climbing French beans or runner beans? I honestly have never taken any notice, just loosely tied them in when they started to wrap around the canes, Can I ask why ?
Anticlockwise looking down the cane.
Please don't ask if they go the other way in Australia.
I can assure you they still grow upwards in Australia
