Rhus suckers
Sir/Madam: I wish to alert you to a new threat to the unsuspecting gardener. Vegetable plots abound, as we know, but none is so worrying as the cunning rhus, which will sucker you into anything.

Indeed, Verdun, I veered away from using terms like 'fatal'. One hardly wishes to spark mass wisteria. In any case, while serious, the contention that a rhus, however cunning, could lead to the loss of life is frankly umbel-leafable.

Jokes, Verdun? I offer sage advice - learned, I might add, from no less a ground elder than my Great Aunt's second under-gardener Dibber - only to be mock oranged. Another sad reflection of a culture gone to seed.
