tomatoes plants

what do you do with tomatoes plants when there finished giving the fruits for the year, can you use them again or do you have to buy new plants the following year image

  • They are annuals when grown in the UK and similar climates, so chop them up and compost them or put in the green waste bin if you don't have a compost heap.  Tomatoes are easy to grow from seed if you have a greenhouse or even on a windowsill which gets plenty of light - you can always buy plants if that doesn't work for you. image

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
