What rose is this?

RoySRoyS Posts: 3

Hi - my first post, so be kind especially as I'm not at all sure about loading images. Can anyone help identifying this rose from our garden; it is one of our favourites but we have no idea of the name. It is a bush, about 4ft high by 4ft across. Typically 3-4 buds per stem, and repeat flowers after deadheading. Very clean - no blackspot or other problems.

I have loaded 3 images, but only 2 appear to be displayed. First 2 are of flowers on the bush, the 3rd is indoors in a vase.

I would be grateful for any suggestions.

Best wishes - Roy

    Hello and welcome RoyS image

There are so many roses - have a look on this site http://www.classicroses.co.uk/

There's a Search facility on the left hand side which may help you find your rose - it's certainly a lovely one - if you do identify it do let us know which it is image

Thanks for these suggestions. I have now looked at a number of rose-related sites - but with no success.  A shame, because it's an excellent plant

Snow and Jo47 - thank you for your suggestions. I don't think Friend for Life is right - mine is more single than even semi-double and the name doesn't strike any chord from when I bought it.

Angela is much more similar to mine; again, the name is not familiar but I see that it is also called Angelika, which rings a tiny bell in my memory so it could be.

    Once again - many thanks

    best wishes - Roy
