I am new to gardening , but a few years ago I planted lavender in my front garden , it thrived and grew very big , I basically left it be , but today I have noticed the roots upwards are turning jet black ???? Is it a goner ?

How about a pic, lavender likes free draining soil and a lot of sun, have you trimmed the old flowers off, has it wilted?image
  • How do I add a picture ? I can't seem to find how to do it image
  • Hi Rubberducky you need to click on the tree icon (don't ask why a tree) image and you can upload by following instructions from there.

My lavender has grown very big too (I have a lots of it), I am planning taking some cuttings and starting fresh as it really has outgrown the space, I did do some last year and they did all take very easily. image
