English Lavender

Hi

I have only had my lavender plant for one year and it looks awful.  All dead and woody brown at the bottom.  Top is going yellow, but there is some new growth coming through.  I have taken a couple of cutting which seem to be OK at the moment.

Any thoughts about what to do

    Do you have heavy or acidic soil?

    Did you cut it back after it flowered?

    Hi,

    It's a pot with MPC and yes I did cut the flowers off, are these two no no's?

    And make sure you raise the pot on feet or bricks - lavenders like really good drainage image

    Cutting back after flowering is right so that didn't kill them off Mark image
