Could anybody tell me the best way to propagate a Himalayan honeysuckle?

If successful, can I plant it in a sunny location?  This one is growing in a fairly shady spot.

In London. Keen but lazy.

I find mine seeds itself all over the place including on the paving. I'm pretty sure it's not too fussy. Check soon for any seeds the starlings have left and just bung them in I reckon. Someone will probably have a more sophisticated method. image

My biggest specimen seeded/weeded itself outside my kitchen window many years ago and it gets full on sunshine from about 11 in the morning til bedtime. I've also had them seed themselves on the North side of the house on the path! I love them! When they get big just chop them down and back they come. image

It sounds so much more evil in Latin, Tetley! Thanks for advice and warning. The venom is bouncing off my screen! The one in my garden has behaved itself for 4 or 5 years so I hopefully I should be safe with another.

Untended, gardens soon fill up with seedlings from all manner of plants. I haven't found this one any worse that many others and easier to remove than all the baby ashes, field maples, and their friends.
