Is it too late to sow Gaillardia now to flower next year ? or is it best to buy plug plants and overwinter them in the greenhouse.

I showed my Gaillardia on the 24th March this year. Planted them out with other summer bedding, rabbits chewed them right down to the ground they are now blooming beautifully.

i wouldn't sow them now, wait till Spring.

Sow early indoors, gaillardias are slow at first but take off in four months, more or less.
