  • My thoughts exactly, thats why the one im waiting for Rainwater Terrace it has planters integrated into it which you can use to grow/trail plants down and over it at different intervals on the butt! it will look great once its been in a year and the plants are established. The patio is the best place for it really as it will get the most use there rather than been hidden away out of sight.

there is a new website but no products on it as of yet... www.rainwater-terrace.com

  • make sure you clear it out once in awhile as soil ,muck and midges will settle in it.So once in awhile at the beginning and end of season clean out .dont let the water stagnant.

Here's Greengardener12 doing a bit more advertising for his

    Rainwater Terraces!

Could he have roped Gardener1980 in to help him?

How often would you recommend this? Yearly?  Would the water inside if stagnant be safe to use on a salad garden so not to waste the drained water…..

Has my OH been complaining about the mess again?  He knows I cant tidy up while the sciatica is playing up. Its all I can do to sit and watch telly.

  • I clear the water butts  at least twice a year.
