My conservatory is like yours Verdun, It a giant walk in greenhouse! floor to ceiling shelving, stacked with Pelagoniums and Fuchsias. I also want to think of better plants to keep in there, probably will collect them all up again and fill it!
I have have a cull though, lots benefiting the compost bins. I have never used fleece, maybe we are a bit warmer. I don't use clay pots either, I think they get very cold in the winter.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
Thanks Verdun, I will lift them next wk end. Should they be trimmed right back( shame as still in bloom) or potted up as they are? My green house is unheated..OK? Last winter I managed to overwinter some cuttings that I pinched from a couple of my Dad's plants????, but sadly he wasn't successfully at overwintering the parent plants????. This will be my first yr of attempting to o/winter fully grown plants. Fingers crossed!!

Sorry I stand corrected - perhaps its plastic covers that cause mould. I shall try some with fleece and some without. Thanks everyone.
I'm near the south coast and mine are still planted out and blooming- when should they be moved to the greenhouse/ coldframe?
