Care of lily bulbs over winter

I have several lily bulbs which I'm trying to keep over winter ... what is the best way to do this ?

Some of the bulbs look like baby ones from larger bulbs ... can I keep them in an unheated shed ?    Should I bury them in earth /

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Chris

you can let them dry off Chris, as you'd see them for sale.

Keep them in an onion sack kinda thing. ( ask at greengrocer / supermarket ) and , if you have mice, you might want to hang it from the ceiling of your shed.

runny, I leave mine in their pots too,it's just that Chris says his/ hers have babies, so I assumed they'd been lifted.

kinda with you there. It's not like they're expensive to buy decent sized bulbs.

Thanks for that,  you're right I have lifted them ... I usually don't.

Do you have trouble with Lily Beetles ... the only way of getting rid of them (apart from manual) seems to be Provado ... although I hate using the stuff !
