Ladybird poppy

is it possible to save a ladybird poppy which has been damaged at the base of the plant any feed back would be great

i don't think ther'e anything you can do. the plant might manage to regrow.
In the sticks near Peterborough
it's a well established plant with lots of buds so hoped to save it some how
is this a perennial Mark?

I thought you meant one of these, annuals
If it's a perenial, one of the big oriental poppies, that will be back next year if not this.
if the base of a flower stem has broken it would not be mendable.
how about a photo to see what you've got and what has happened? You don't say how the damage occurred

the misses chucked it out now neighbours sand pit damaged lots of plants in the winds were not happy to say the least!!!!!!!!!
