Kept forgetting to remind everyone that on Friday nights in Scotland we have a programme called Landward which is our 'Countryfile' - only much better (!) This week's prog is showing an invention to deter our slimy friends and a slot about bees. It should be available on i-player for all those of you not lucky enough to live up here 
I've sky plussed it so will see what info there is and post anything of interest if I can.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Sounds interesting, must try to find the program on internet. Talking about slimmy things, I went out after heavy rain this morning and picked up at least 20 snails sheltering from the rain on walls and plants. I guess they don't like the rain much either.
