Acer Bush

I would like to buy our bowling club an ACER BUSH...one that can be trimmed so that it does not grow too large...any suggestions please...your advise and guidance will be appreciated by our group of recycled teenagers...

    do you mean the japanese maple type acer? or the tree types?

    If you put the Japanese Maples in pots it restricts their growth which might be better than trimming to size which takes skill to avoid the haircut look.

    I prefer the japanese maple and where we want to plant is like a large pot...we would like it about 3ft high...Laurie
