  It grows like a weed, it self seeds, drops them everywhere, I spend ages pulling it out, always grows in the wrong place.

  if anyone wants any next Spring, let me know. It only goes on the compost.

  Hi all

  Well after last years discussions i decided to have more VB at the alltment as their colour and height are so impressive

  First ever entry at allotment show this weekend and with flowers grown sweet peas, black corn flower, marigold and VB givena grand womans touch

  We only won..................first prize

  Was also doubtful about when/whether to prune these great plants, but so glad I held back, because the gangs of goldfinches I've had swinging off the bouncy stems this last winter have been an absolute delight - to me and them!
