Sambucus pruning

I have recently had to move my Sambucus due to it being in the way of some work we were having done, I watered it in well but it has gone very limp, should I prune it back now or leave till spring?

I think I'd do it now. There will be less wind rock over winter.

I agree with Nut - cut back now and give the shrub the opportunity to recover from the shock of moving.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
